I’m an illustrator and storyteller who likes to take long walks down bizarre mindscapes and dreams of one day owning a mango tree. I live in Texas and work as Kids Comics Unite's art director (check it out if you are a fellow comic creator!).
I am originally from Panama and grew up as a military kid traveling the U.S. and Europe. We never stayed at one place more than three years but between all those moves I was largely influenced by cartoons from Looney Tunes to Sailor Moon. Studio Ghibli films in particular made me go into animation, however, it wasn't until years later I realized my passion was in graphic novels!
I have a particular interest in illustrating anything fantasy & slice of life with queer and whimsical characters. I am a huge fan of magic realism, horror, food, nature, and memoirs. I am currently seeking projects that balance humor, hardships, and heart!
